Below you will find helpful information as we progress to Stage II of Community-Based Care (CBC) services. We understand apprehensions may arise as we embark on the next stage of CBC and it is our hope to assist you as much as possible through the process. We greatly appreciate all that you do to support our vulnerable children and are happy to help address any questions you may have.
Here are a few key points in regard to the transition:
Once Belong has received the resource transfer from DFPS, we will determine and plan for salaries competitive with those of current DFPS salaries. Stay tuned here for the latest information.
A 40 hour work week is expected at Belong. We do not have a formal “clock in” process as work-life balance and flexibility are implemented in our organizational culture.
For all work-related activities, travel/mileage reimbursement will be paid to and from an employee’s duty point.
If interested in assisting with emergency only SSCC Supervision shifts, you will be compensated at a rate of $15 per hour for the time worked before or after normal business hours.
